Update: Winter photo shoot.

Last years group. We will be meeting rain snow or shine for this opportunity. Email to sign up.

Yes its still on, but thanks to an attendee from the area, we now have a nice meeting spot.

Sunday January 24, 2010. regardless of weather.

We will start our day at Jack’s coffee shop.  We will be there from approximately 8 to 8:45 a.m. for the 9 a.m. meeting for the shoot at the park.

Wheatley provincial park. 9:00 a.m.

PLEASE: E-mail me if you plan on attending.

Thanks to Bob Toews for the detailed info:

“Jack’s Coffee Shop is at 15 Talbot St. West. That makes it 3 buildings west of the only traffic light we have. Lots of parking, good food, and they open 6 A.M. Saturdays and Sundays, 5 A.M. during the week. If you’re coming in from Windsor on hwy 3, you’ll see a Mac’s Milk on the right, look immediately to the left and you’ll see a tourist information booth. The parking lot is the next thing beyond the booth.”

Meet Trevor and Adrian at the entrance parking lot for a short hike into the park to take pictures in the woods, the bluff and the lake edge.  Last year we went to Point Pelee with the Shooters club and had a great time.  This year will be no different.  Dress warmly and bring lots of camera gear.  Expect cold and wind.  In February we will return to Pelee for another winter shoot (#2)  more information on that soon.

Bob has also suggested a few other locations for shooting:

“Three other photo shoot opportunities are Wheatley Harbour with the large fishing tugs, Koegaron Woods, and the Two Creeks conservation area, all within 5 minutes of the 4 corners of Wheatley.”

We can discuss those opportunities as a group based on weather, and constitutions.  See you there!
